The Boston Beer Company was founded in 1984 and brews more than 60 styles of Samuel Adams beer. Company brands include Angry Orchard Hard Cider, Twisted Tea, Truly Hard Seltzer, Wild Leaf Hard Tea, Tura Alcoholic Kombucha, and several brands brewed by the craft beer incubator A&S Brewing. In 2016, the company sold more than 4 million barrels, making it one of the largest craft breweries in the US. The company brews most of its beers at its breweries in Boston, Cincinnati, and Lehigh Valley. The Boston Beer Company has agreements in place with a short list of brewing and packaging partners. Since its IPO on November 15, 1995, the Boston Beer Company has been traded under the ticker SAM on the New York Stock Exchange. On July 3, 2019, the Boston Beer Company completed the purchase of Dogfish Head Brewery and began consolidating the Dogfish Head financial results.
