Segro dates back to 1920 and is a Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), headquartered in the UK and operating in 14 offices across Europe, including the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands Poland, and Spain. The company owns, manages and develops modern warehouses and light industrial property located in, or close to, major urban conurbations and around key transport hubs. Overall, Segro owns or manages 7 million square meters of space (75 million square feet) which is currently valued at £11 billion. Segro employs over 300 people worldwide and serves approximately 1,155 customers, of whom the top 20 customers represent aggregate headline rent of £119 million, reaching 31% of the Group’s total headline rent as of 31 December, 2018. Segro’s customers operate in a wide range of industry sectors, including delivery, food, and logistics.
